
Coach Perry’s career with CCHS lacrosse began when he played for the team. He left Creek to play for
Whittier College and has participated on various club teams in years since. Perry was selected a RMILL All-
Star in 1999.
He launched his coaching career in1992 at Englewood High School where he was part of a staff that
earned Englewood a playoff bid for the first time in 20 years. In 1997, Perry coached at Arapahoe High
School and became Varsity Head Coach in 1999. He led Arapahoe to the state championship game in 2000,
was honored with the Colorado High School Athletic Association CHSAA Educator of the Week Award, and
was selected Coach of the Year by both Denver newspapers and the Coaches Poll. In 2002, Perry was
tapped as Varsity Head Coach at Creek. He led the team to the state championship game in 2003 and
brought them there again in 2005, this time achieving the State title. Perry was selected '05 Coach of the
Year by the Denver Post. The Bruins also won the state championship in 2006. In addition, Coach Perry
was an assistant coach with the Denver Outlaws in 2006, and served as the Team Colorado U-19 Vail Squad
Coach from 2000-08.
