Wick Kelley is originally from Lake Forest, Illinois. He played high school lacrosse at Culver Military Academy
winning the Indiana State Championship in 2004 and being the team’s MVP in 2005 as an all-around
midfielder and attackman. Wick has played hockey his entire life and enjoys coaching youth soccer, hockey
and lacrosse. He was named to the Indiana All-State Team in 2005 and went on to play at the U.S. Air Force
Academy from 2005-2009. As a senior defensive midfielder, he helped lead the Falcons to their first winning
season in program history in 2009. He also played two years on the Air Force Club hockey team. Wick spent a
year in San Angelo, Texas for military training and was recently stationed in Denver in June 2010. He is a
Lieutenant in the Air Force as an Intelligence Officer at Buckley Air Force Base. This is Coach Kelley’s first
year coaching at Cherry Creek and he is looking forward to bringing his leadership skills and military
background to the program.
